DENMARK INTRODUCES BIOMETRIC RESIDENCE CARDS 20th. MAY 2012
The 26th and the 27th April we held a highly successful Energy Event in Kyiv in partnership with DBDH, EBRD and E5P. The Danish delegation consisted of Ten Danish Companies and during the two days we went to meetings and round table meetings with among others DTEK and Kyivenergo. The event was a result of the agreement between Trade Council Russia and Trade Council Ukraine about improving the cooperation and in that way makes value for our Danish exporters. At the same time, the event was a mark of Denmark’s current Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which was marked with a public concert of classical and contemporary Danish music. One of the main topics during the two days was the privatization of some big energy-generating companies in Ukraine! The owners of the companies are ready to start renovation process of old technologies and it is now time for the Danish companies and Danish know-how to be present in Ukraine and set up good and potential contacts. Ukraine and Russia makes up a huge market potential for Danish companies within energy efficiency and this is just the beginning!
