Members of official delegations who, following an official invitation addressed to Ukraine, Armenia or Georgia, shall participate in meetings, consultations, negotiations or exchange programmes, as well as in events held in Denmark by intergovernmental organisations.
Following article 4 in the agreement between Denmark and Ukraine on the facilitation of the issuance of visa to citizens of Ukraine visiting Denmark, Ukrainian applicants will, as a main rule only have to submit the general requirements and the supporting documents mentioned below.
For other applicants who can prove earlier Schengen visa (ex original old passport) the general requirements and the supporting documentation mentioned below is as a main rule sufficient. For first-time visitors into the Schengen area, additional documentation may be required.

Following article 6 in the same agreement, visa fee is waived for Ukrainian citizens under this category.
An applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category.
An official invitation is an invitation issued by a Danish public authority/administration and addressed to the relevant Ukrainian, Armenian or Georgian authority.
The applicant’s name must be indicated in the letter issued by the competent authority confirming that the person is part of the delegation travelling to Denmark to participate in the official meeting.
This provision only covers intergovernmental organisations but not non-governmental organisations (NGO), trade unions, political parties or journalists. Visits for festive occasions are not covered.
In case of applications for multiple-entry visas to members of an official delegation, proof must be presented regarding their permanent status as members of the delegation and the need to participate regularly in meetings, consultations, negotiations or exchange programs in Denmark.
Business people and representatives of business organisations:
For other applicants who can prove earlier Schengen visa (ex original old passport) the general requirements and the supporting documentation mentioned below is as a main rule sufficient. For first-time visitors into the Schengen area, additional documentation may be required, see below.
For Ukrainian and Georgian citizens the fee for processing a visa application is equivalent in UAH of 35 Euro. For other nationals including Armenians the fee is as a main rule equivalent in UAH of 60 Euro.
In case a visa for a Ukrainian citizen should and could be processed as an urgent case (within 3 days) the Embassy will charge a fee of an equivalent value in UAH of 70 Euro. Please notice that even though a fast track fee has been paid the visa might not be issued within 3 days, if documents are missing or it is necessary to submit the application to the Danish Immigration Service.
All supporting and additional documentation should be translated into English before submitting.
In case of applications for multiple-entry visas to business people, proof must be presented regarding their professional status, the duration of their activities and the need to participate regularly in meetings, consultations and negotiations in Denmark.
Drivers conducting international cargo and passenger transportation services to Denmark in vehicles registered in Ukraine
Following article 6 in the same agreement, visa fee is waived for Ukrainian citizens under this category. In case a visa should and could be processed as an urgent case (within 3 days) the Embassy will charge a fee of an equivalent value in UAH of 35 euro.Please notice that even though a fast track fee has been paid the visa might not be issued within 3 days, if documents are missing or it is necessary to submit the application to the Danish Immigration Service.
For Georgian citizens the fee for processing a visa application is equivalent in UAH of 35 Euro. For other nationals including Armenians the fee is as a main rule equivalent in UAH of 60 Euro.

A certificate from an academy or successful participation in a course for journalists is not enough.
In case of applications for multiple-entry visas to journalist, proof must be presented regarding their professional status, the duration of their activities and the need to go to Denmark on a regularly basis.

Persons participating in scientific, cultural and artistic activities, including university and other exchange programmes

Following Recommendation of the European Parliament and the Council, fees are waived for researchers of all nationalities travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research.
Pupils, students, post-graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purposes of study or educational training, including in the framework of exchange programmes as well as other school related activities

Participants in international sports events in Denmark and persons accompanying them in a professional capacity.
This provision covers also local and regional public authorities as well.
The list of accompanying persons will be limited to those accompanying the sportsman/woman in a professional capacity: coaches, masseurs, manager, medical staff and head of the sports club.
Supporters shall not be considered as accompanying persons.
Participants in official exchange programmes organised by twin cities
Following article 6 in the same agreement, visa fee is waived for Ukrainian citizens under this category. In case a visa should and could be processed as an urgent case (within 3 days) the Embassy will charge a fee of an equivalent value in UAH of 35 euro.

Close relatives: spouse, children (including adopted), parents (including custodians), grandparents and grandchildren – visiting citizens of Ukraine, Armenia or Georgia legally residing in Denmark

Following article 6 in the same agreement, visa fee is waived for Ukrainian citizens under this category. In case a visa should and could be processed as an urgent case (within 3 days) the Embassy will charge a fee of an equivalent value in UAH of 35 euro – unless the reason is to visit a close relative seriously ill.
All nationals who are family members of a EU-Union citizen living in Denmark (in the sense of Article 5(2) of Directive 2004/38/EC of 29 April 2004) shall be issued visas free of charge, as soon as possible and on the basis of an accelerated procedure - This provision does not apply to foreign nationals visiting Danish citizens.

In the summer 2008 the Danish Immigration authorities decided to facilitate entries into Denmark for Ukrainian tourists – under the precondition that the tour takes place as a packet tour ordered and paid via an Ukrainian travel agency accredited by the Danish Embassy in Kyiv. The packet tour should as a minimum hold the transport and hotel booking. The visa applications should be submitted via a Ukrainian travel agency accredited at the Danish Embassy in Kyiv. The precondition for an accreditation in Kyiv is that the Ukrainian agency has a cooperation agreement with a Nordic travel agency accredited by the Danish Immigration authorities (the list of Nordic travel agencies).
On 15 February 2010 an arrangement was established expanding the existing travel agency arrangements in Ukraine to include travel-related companies other than travel agencies.
The Ukrainian arrangement is a one-year pilot programme that will accredit as many as 25 hotel chains/hotels and up to five large holiday accommodation rental chains.
Accreditation of the selected chains will be conducted by the Immigration Service on the recommendation of Visit Denmark and after obtaining a statement from Horesta.
