Denmark supports Ukraine with rescue equipment to help alleviate the consequences of flooding in West Ukraine

The Danish Emergency Management Agency supports Ukraine with rescue equipment to help alleviate the consequences of the largest floods in over 50 years. Through the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism, Ukraine has requested rescue equipment and personal protective equipment for the front line rescue personnel as well as drones to help create an overview of the floods. Denmark has responded to the request by sending a security package to the Ukrainian emergency management authorities consisting of rescue helmets with headlamps, rescue ropes and two drones.
