Yesterday the biannual Development Forum between the Ukrainian government and donors supporting Ukraine’s dynamic transformation took place. The main areas of cooperation emphasized by the parties were as follows: economic freedom, national security, rule of law, human development, and effective governance.

Due to the role of Denmark in supporting the work on anti-corruption as a key donor and implementing partner for the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), Denmark delivered the remarks on anti-corruption on behalf of the donor community, stressing, inter alia, the need for creating a strategic anti-corruption reform framework and ensuring the independence and effectiveness of key anti-corruption agencies.
