Danish Investments in Rivne region
On July 1st Ambassador Mikkelsen together with the executive director of UkraineInvest Mr. Tsivkach visited the city of Rivne with the official visit. Danish owned Hjort Knudsen A/S is investing EUR 11 million into new production facilities in the outskirts of Rivne, creating 1200 new jobs and not least creating added value for the local and country’s economy. The Ambassador held a meeting with the Head of Rivne State Regional Administration Mr. Koval, as well other representaives of local authorities, ensuring strong support of Danish investments in the country.
Ambassador Mikkelsen underlined that smooth transparent and open process is the key for the further investments from Denmark to Ukraine. We count on the support and facilitation from the side of local and central authorities to make this a success story and a role model for the future investments. We are happy to see more and more Danish investments in Ukraine and we stand shoulder to shoulder with the Danish companies.
