Health Admin Officer

The Embassy of Denmark to Ukraine is now hiring an experienced and service-minded colleague with strong administrative skills and a pragmatic approach to join our team as the Health Admin Officer. You will work closely with colleagues from different teams at the embassy, Danish and Ukrainian authorities and companies, as well as international partners and organisations. If you have a high interest in supporting the health counsellor and other technical staff at the Embassy, this may be the position for you.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Provision of competent and timely assistance to the general professional administration of the Strategic Sector Cooperation within the health area.
- Development, maintenance and support to the collaborative relationships with Ukrainian and Danish health authorities as well as international partners.
- Set up, participate in and translate meetings with Ukrainian companies, organisations and authorities within the health sectors.
- Help arrange and participate in project site visits in different parts of Ukraine.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders, contribution to translation and writing of minutes, as well as contributing to Embassy briefings.
- Assistance with organisation of the Health Counsellor and other team members’ work, travel arrangements, meetings, visits of Danish delegations etc.
- IT and Embassy website support.
- Media collection and analysis of health sector related matters.
- Assistance to the other Embassy administrative tasks.
- Other tasks may be assigned in dialogue with management and depending on qualifications of the successful candidate.
Professional qualifications:
- Professional integrity and sound judgment in consequential decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to interact with people of different backgrounds in a polite and friendly manner.
- Experience in administration from a public or private organization is a must. If you have experience from the health sector this would be preferred. Flexibility and ability to cooperate within and outside of one’s team.
- Strong English and Ukrainian, spoken and written language, including translation skills.
- Working experience from a government body, an international organisation, a consultancy firm or an embassy, preferably within fields related to health is an advantage.
- Relevant university degree is an advantage but not necessary. We are more interested in your experience and your willingness to take on the daily assigned tasks.

Starting Date
1 June, 2026 or soonest hereafter. Employment requires security clearance from the Danish authorities. The applicant should be eligible for working in Ukraine, i.e. be a Ukrainian national or have a valid Ukrainian work permit. A competitive salary package will be provided according to qualifications.
