All-Ukrainian Human Rights Legion Forum in Kyiv
On July 7th, 2023, Ambassador Ole Egberg Mikkelsen delivered opening remarks at the All-Ukrainian Human Rights Forum “Human Rights Legion”
The All-Ukrainian Human Rights Forum “Human Rights Legion” took place in the premises of the Art Arsenal Kyiv. It was organized by the Ombudsman of Ukraine, supported by Japan and Denmark through the UNDP.
It was attended by human rights defenders, international organizations and the diplomatic community and presented an opportunity to share experiences and best practices.
“Freedom, liberty, democracy and human rights are the common values that unites Danes and Ukrainians. Therefore, Denmark is a long-term supporter of Ukraine’s ombudsman, not least their regional offices, ensuring access for citizens across the nation”, said Ole Egberg Mikkelsen in his speech.
