Ambassador Ole Egberg Mikkelsen visited the Solomyansky Neighbourhood in Kyiv in the Aftermath of the Missile Attack
After prior agreement with the local authorities ambassador Ole Egberg Mikkelsen visited the location in the Solomyansky neighbourhood in Kyiv where an attack on a big residential building had taken the lives of at least two persons.
Crooked pieces of the missile still stick out of the deep crater besides the ruined house, smoke is rising over the blackened remains of what used to be someone’s homes, while rescuers and psychologists are working tirelessly to mitigate the consequences of the brutal attack.
The ambassador expressed his solidarity with the Kyiv citizens, and extends his gratitude to the air defence forces and the rescue workers who ensure our safety during difficult times. “I am proud to be a temporary citizens of this great city – the capital of freedom” , the ambassador said in his message.
