DANISH MINISTER FOR FINANCE VISITED UKRAINE

Over two intense days in Kyiv and Bucha, Danish Minister for Finance Nicolai Wammen reaffirmed Denmark’s strong support for Ukraine’s defence and reconstruction.

On April 2nd, Minister Wammen took part in the Ukraine Donor Coordination Platform, held high-level meetings with PM Denys Shmyhal, the Presidential Office, and David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada.

The Minister visited OkhMatDyt Children’s Hospital, meeting Alina, a young mine explosion survivor from Mykolaiv, and paid tribute at Maidan Square, symbol of the Revolution of Dignity.

On April 3rd, the Minister spoke with students at the Institute of International Relations, met Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko, and visited Bucha, honoring victims with Mayor Fedoruk and Father Andriy at the “Alley of Heroes.”

The visit coincided with Denmark’s 25th support package for Ukraine—DKK 6.7 billion (EUR 898 million) in military aid from 2025 to 2027.
