DANISH-UKRAINIAN DEFENCE SEMINAR 2024

On August 20, the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) brought together Danish and Ukrainian defence industries at Industriens Hus in Copenhagen.

The participants shared their perspectives on industrial cooperation from various angles, including the Danish and Ukrainian political levels, the Danish Armed Forces, the financial sector, the Danish defence industry, and Ukrainian defence industry organizations.

In his speech, Ambassador Ole Egberg Mikkelsen urged Danish companies wishing to do business in the defense sector to contact the embassy on [email protected]. The embassy has everything under the same roof: The defence section, the trade department as well as representatives of Danish state owned investment funds EIFO and IFU and they are all ready to assist. The embassy can for instance reach out to Ukrainian stakeholders and decision makers on behalf of Danish companies and help Danish companies navigating the Ukrainian business landscape.
