Denmark confirms strong support - acting defence minister visits Ukraine

On April 10th, acting Minister of Defence of Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen paid a visit to the brave Ukrainian city of Odesa. In a meeting with Ukrainian Minister of Defence Oleksii Reznikov, he reaffirmed the continued Danish support for Ukraine, right now and in a long-term perspective.

"Throughout the war, Denmark has been a staunch supporter of Ukraine and our donations have, according to our allies and Ukraine itself, made a big difference. There is one particular Danish donation to Ukraine that has had a special significance, namely the Harpoon missile system donation which we have discussed today. It has been heartening to hear first-hand accounts of how this donation from Denmark has made a difference," said Mr. Lund Poulsen.

During his visit to Odessa, Acting Minister of Defence of Denmark also participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument to fallen soldiers in Ukraine.
