Denmark is easing COVID-19 entry restrictions

From February 1, 2022 all persons from anywhere in the world holding a valid proof of vaccination with an approved vaccine or valid proof of previous COVID-19 infection may enter Denmark without being subject to any COVID-19 entry restrictions.

Persons entering Denmark from a country outside of the EU or Schengen area – i.e. beginning their travel from a so-called ‘high risk country’ including Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia – and without proof of vaccination with an approved vaccine or proof of previous infection are required to test for COVID-19 no later than 24 hours after entry to Denmark and to enter into isolation.

Children under the age of 15 are exempted from testing and isolation.

The new COVID-19 restrictions are expected to be in force until February 28, 2022.
