MINISTER OF DEFENCE AND SENIOR DANISH LAWMAKERS VISITED KYIV
A strong Danish defence delegation visited Kyiv on March 22nd and 23rd.
Denmark’s Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen and senior Danish lawmakers met with President Zelensky, Ukraine’s Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksander Syrsky, a group of Ukrainian MPS including speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, and a pool of Ukrainian and Danish defence companies.
On Friday March 22nd, the Minister took part in the Kyiv Security Forum where he made a speech.
On Saturday 23rd, the Minister inaugurated the first Danish-Ukrainian Defence Industry Conference. The Conference was held for the first time in Kyiv, with the participation of a large number of Danish and Ukrainian defence companies.

"It is crucial that purchases in the defence industry take place on the basis of Ukraine's specific need for military support. I am happy that so many Danish companies support Ukraine's defence struggle. I talk regularly with representatives from the Danish defence industry about how we can better utilize the knowledge and capacity of the business world in relation to the military donations to Ukraine. We can do that to an even greater extent with the industry pool," says Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
Also, the Danish lawmakers commemorated the fallen soldiers of the Russian Ukrainian war at the Maidan Square.
