NORDIC AND BALTIC VISIT IN ODESA
Yesterday, the Danish Foreign Minister and Nordic-Baltic colleagues visited Odesa and held interesting meetings hosted by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.
During their time in Ukraine, the Nordic-Baltic delegation, FM Sybiha and Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Kiper discussed the current situation, Ukraine’s needs, the Ukrainian effort to achieve a just and lasting peace as well as the EU accession progress and met with wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
The delegation also visited the memorial for fallen soldiers in Odesa. FM Lars Løkke Rasmussen: “Hard to grasp the horrors of war initiated by Russia’s aggression, but this is a space for reflection. I sent my thoughts to the victims and the families”.
The minister also emphasized that “Ukraine has Denmark’s full support, and we stand with 🇺🇦 for as long as it takes”.
