Strong Danish participation at ReBuild Ukraine in Warsaw

Rebuild Ukraine, the international exhibition and two-day conference, took place in Warsaw on November 14 and 15 with a powerful participation of about 600 companies from 30 countries

Danish National Pavilion hosted 41 companies. The event was organized by DI, DBDH and the Danish Embassy in Kyiv.

The Danish Minister of Climate, Energy, and Utilities Lars Aagaard opened the Danish Pavilion and took part in the opening debate about Ukraine's energy security and the vision of the reconstruction process. 

"I am happy that today I can add a donation of 30 million kroner to the reconstruction effort and hand over a new emergency catalogue, which can help Ukraine with preparations for next winter. The rebuilding of Ukraine's energy supply is essential help for the Ukrainian population and makes Ukraine stronger against the Russian attacks - and with our energy cooperation, Denmark can help with knowledge and experience," Minister Lars Aagaard said. 

He also had a dialogue with his Ukrainian counterpart, Minister German Galuschenko regarding the Danish-Ukrainian cooperation on the restoration of the energy systems, which Denmark is now also supporting with an additional DKK 30 million (about 4 million Euro).

Ministers Aagaard and Galuschenko also held a meeting with other Co-Chairs - Norway and Poland - on the Peace Formula’s Energy Security Track.
